7 Best Camping Table Accessories
Hopefully you've found the perfect camping table for you in the list above. Now, let's take a look at some great camping table accessories.
1. Fitted Tablecloth for Campground Picnic Table
Whenever you are at a campground that provides a picnic table, it’s nice to have a quality tablecloth. This particular tablecloth is great because it’s fitted! No more flapping sides.
It includes fitted bench covers too! You can choose between several colors, sizes, and shapes (round or rectangle).
Its thick, elastic, and stretchable design makes it compatible with standard picnic tables and other comparably-sized folding tables. It’s also made from heavy-duty, waterproof vinyl that’s stain-resistant and easy to clean.
You don’t need clips with this tablecloth, but if you do need some quality clips for your tablecloth…

2. Heavy Duty Tablecloth Clips
The fitted tablecloth works really well, but we still like to have tablecloth clips on hand. This might be my own idiosyncrasy, but I really like it when the tablecloth is extra snug.
And, sometimes we encounter a smaller picnic table than is standard, so these clips ensure we can still comfortably use our tablecloth.
These clips are stainless steel so they’re strong yet still easy to install and remove. You simply pinch it and slide it into place. They fit most table thicknesses below 1.5 inches.

3. Picnic Caddy & Paper Towel Holder
There are smaller and more lightweight caddies available, but this one is so nifty! While most caddies only hold utensils and napkins, this picnic caddy also has room for condiments, seasonings, and a whole roll of paper towels.
I particularly like the integrated paper towel holder because napkins always try to blow away even if they’re in a caddy.
So, if you have room in your RV, this is a great option. If you need something smaller, though…

These pop-up mesh tents cover your food to keep insects off. This set comes with 1 extra large cover and 4 standard size food nets.
They fold up nicely and are easy to clean with some soap and water.

What Makes the Best Camping Table the Best?
While most camping tables you check out will be very similar in that they offer a tabletop with a flat surface, there are some considerations that you need to make. Several models should work well if you only need a table to play card games.
But if you need something larger, you might want a reliable picnic table. Or if you are searching for a sturdy table that can play host to your camp kitchen, you will need a large table with a high-weight capacity that can be adjusted.
The following are the main features you will want to consider when looking at the best tables for camping.
Adjustable Height
A top table can be adjusted to fit your needs. Many tables have adjustable legs that can accommodate different heights. That way, you can raise it when you're standing over the camp stove. But then lower the table when playing a game with the family.
Ease of Set-Up
When camping, time and energy can be limited, so choosing a camping table that is easy to set up and take down is essential. This will save you time and effort, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors more.
Camping tables can have different designs and features that make them easy to set up, such as collapsible legs, quick-release mechanisms, and color-coded or numbered parts. Some camping tables are designed to be set up with minimal tools or assembly, while others might require more time. Consider how much time you will spend setting up your table when choosing.
Portability
While a table may be described as a portable camping table, there is a big difference between tables regarding their ease of portability.
For example, can you lug around a six-foot table with foldable legs? Yes, you can! Technically it is a portable table, but that doesn't mean it's easy to move.
But many camping tables fold very small and can be stowed in carrying bags. They can be easily stashed in spots like outdoor storage cabinets. Or you can lay flat in the back of your tow vehicle without being in the way of the other items you might be lugging.
Durability
Durability is another sign of a great product. A durable camping table will withstand the rigors of camping and outdoor use, such as weather, rough surfaces, and frequent setup and takedown. This will ensure that your table lasts for many camping trips.
Camping tables can be made from various materials, such as aluminum, steel, plastic, and wood. Each material has unique properties, such as strength, weight, and resistance to the elements. Some durable materials, such as aluminum, are lightweight and rust-resistant, while others, like steel, are more heavy-duty and durable.
Consider the camping you plan on doing and how often you will use the table when choosing a material. Consider going with steel legs if you need something to hold up a very heavy cooktop. If you need somewhere to place your drinks, then a more lightweight material will work well and contain less weight to pull.
Size & Weight Capacity
When camping, space and weight are often limited, so it's essential to choose a camping table that is compact and lightweight. This will make transport and setup easier and save space in your camping gear.
Camping tables come in various sizes, from trim, portable options to larger, more substantial tables. They also vary in weight, from lightweight aluminum models to heavier, more durable options. Consider your specific needs and preferences when choosing the size and weight of your camping table.
When choosing the correct table, you will also want to consider the weight capacity you need for that table. Are you looking for a side table or coffee table for your camping chair that only needs to hold your coffee, book, and phone?
What about a portable kitchen table that will be used to support your camp stove? Or perhaps you are looking for a table that can double as the perfect card table?
Regardless of your table's purpose, think about how much weight you need it to support. Then check out the weight capacity for the models you are looking at.
