Here are the best RV shower heads to keep you feeling clean while living on the road!
Why does a good shower head matter?
Well, when you spend a lot of time traveling in your RV, like Jennifer and I do, taking a shower can be like one of the comforts from home. It makes those adventurous activities like hiking, biking, and camping, especially when it's muddy outside, a lot less problematic.
But, more importantly, a good shower head will help you conserve water… an important thing for boondockers.
Having one of the best RV shower heads adds to your comfort as much as having instant hot water for RV Showers does!

Types of RV Shower Heads
When shopping around for the best RV shower head, you will want to start with the basics: choosing what type of shower head you want.
Single Spray
Single spray shower heads usually come with an adjustable nozzle, letting you change the water spray patterns by turning a dial. They are usually less expensive than other types of showerheads but are very simple and basic to use.
Rain Shower Head
The rain shower head is fairly new to the market. It features a flat and large spray surface that spreads equal water over a big surface area. Some RVers like the fresh, modern look of these types of shower heads.
Handheld Shower Head
This type of showerhead offers a lot of flexibility since it can be detached from the wall and held in your hand. This makes it easy to rinse off your body in a shorter period of time, which is great when you want to save time and water usage.
Multiple or Dual Shower Heads
With more than one shower head, this type usually offers different spray settings. However, it is typically controlled by a single lever. In some cases, it can include a diverter valve, letting users only operate one shower each use.
Now that you know about all the different types available – let's look at a few for you to explore. 1. Oxygenics 26781 White Body Spa Shower Head
Some consider this model to be the best RV shower head and would be a great addition to your RV, even if you are dry camping. All you need to do is fill up your reserve tank before turning on the hot water heater to wait until the water temperature is warm prior to showering.
This model is handheld with a 60-inch hose and self-pressurizing, making it comfortable and easy to use. In addition, it won’t clog. For those who have experienced a shower head that has, you understand the value of this!
The company also offers a lifetime warranty for peace of mind, making it a great buy. This can give you peace of mind when trying to buy a showerhead for your RV.
This showerhead can also help with water conservation by only running 2.0 gallons of water per minute (GPM). However, that also means it has low water pressure compared to some other models.
Installing this shower head is quick and easy since it comes complete with all accessories you will need. One more thing making your RV lifestyle a little easier!
2. Dura Faucet DF SA130 WT White RV Shower Head
Another favorite among RVers, and considered one of the best RV shower heads, this model is great after a long day of hiking or some other “adventuring.” If you need a good, strong shower, this might be the model for you!
If you like high pressure, then this might be the showerhead for you! This model is powerful, featuring 2.2 gallons per minute and 60 PSI. But don’t worry about the amount of water you're using, since it comes equipped with a trickle valve switch allowing you to moderate the water flow.
In addition to having a nice, strong water pressure, this model is durable and high-quality, despite being a lightweight showerhead weighing in at only one pound.
It is easy to use, coming complete with a 60-inch flexible hose and mourning bracket.
The only drawback with this particular model is that it is made in part using synthetic resin materials, which might not be as durable as other materials.
3. ETL 26181 Plastic Body Spa Oxygenics Shower with 60” Hose
Do you like high water pressure, but your spouse or partner prefers a softer shower? One of the key features of this shower head is its adjustment ability and water-saving feature.
You can reduce the flow of water for low pressure and less water consumption. You can also use this showerhead when dry camping by filling your RV’s water tank, heating up the water, and showering when it is ready to go!
Another easy-to-install shower head option, coming complete with all the accessories needed to install in your RV.
One small drawback is that it is made of plastic materials, which can break down over time.
4. PIH High-Pressure RV Handheld Shower Head
This high-pressure handheld shower head will feel great at the end of the day by instantly increasing the water flow pressure in your RV shower. It even has a “pause” button on the sprayer to save water while soaping up!
Comes complete with a 59-inch hose, bracket, hose clamp, and adjustable bracket in the package.
5. Oxygenics 92871 Fury Handheld Sprayer
This shower head is a good choice for two reasons: it won’t clog and can reach further than the other models on this list. If those two features are high on your list, this might be the best RV shower head for you!
This model featured non-stick internal parts that can prevent clogging or corrosion, giving it consistent performance.
It also features a 72-inch hose, easily reaching anywhere in the shower. This is a great hose length for tall people or RVs that have larger showers.
Comes complete with a wall-mount and plumber’s tape for simple installation. It also comes in a variety of finishes to match any existing RV decor.

My new RV came with the basic shower head, and that barely had any pressure when completely on. This often left me feeling like I still had soap on me after I rinsed off and was very annoying. I started looking for an RV shower head to replace while on my most recent trip and came across this item from Oxygenics and decided to give it a shot. Its handheld design is enough to let me enjoy jet engine power once I am showering. It can deliver really good pressure even if the water pump used in my RV is powered by a battery. In addition, it has most of the features necessary to make it work the way I want, including the wand, wand holder, 60-inch hose, washers, and comfort regulator.

ETL is an awesome shower head! The mount swivels some so you can adjust the angle. The shower points down, unlike the original shower head, plus we can fit under it. This shower head makes a big difference in both water savings and pressure. I love that this one came with a shut off valve – older models didn’t have it, and when you’re dry-camping, you want to shut off the water while soaping up.
