Why does a good RV showerhead matter?
Well, when you spend a lot of time traveling in your RV, like Jennifer and I do, a refreshing shower is a luxury. It rejuvenates you after adventurous activities like hiking, biking, and camping.
Factory-installed RV showerheads don't have a great reputation, especially where water pressure is concerned. That's why we've made a list of the 5 best RV showerhead replacements…
5 Best RV Shower Heads
If your RV doesn't have a high-quality showerhead, you might be missing out on this simple comfort. By the way, instant hot water for RV Showers is worth looking into, too!
Of course, we still have to prioritize conserving water, especially for boondockers. We factored that in when making the following list.

Types of RV Shower Heads
When shopping around for the best RV shower head, you will want to start with the basics: choosing what type of shower head you want.
Single Spray
Single spray shower heads usually come with an adjustable nozzle, letting you change the water spray patterns by turning a dial. They are usually less expensive than other types of showerheads but are very simple and basic to use.
Rain Shower Head
The rain shower head is fairly new to the market. It features a flat and large spray surface that spreads equal water over a big surface area. Some RVers like the fresh, modern look of these types of shower heads.
Handheld Shower Head
This type of showerhead offers a lot of flexibility since it can be detached from the wall and held in your hand. This makes it easy to rinse off your body in a shorter period of time, which is great when you want to save time and water usage.
Multiple or Dual Shower Heads
With more than one shower head, this type usually offers different spray settings. However, it is typically controlled by a single lever. In some cases, it can include a diverter valve, letting users only operate one shower each use.

I’m just starting to research RV shower heads and your post was super helpful! I was surprised by how much variety there is out there. I’m leaning towards the second one on your list, the S3500 AquaClean Showerhead. What’s your experience with it? Does it work well for small RV showers?

My new RV came with the basic shower head, and that barely had any pressure when completely on. This often left me feeling like I still had soap on me after I rinsed off and was very annoying. I started looking for an RV shower head to replace while on my most recent trip and came across this item from Oxygenics and decided to give it a shot. Its handheld design is enough to let me enjoy jet engine power once I am showering. It can deliver really good pressure even if the water pump used in my RV is powered by a battery. In addition, it has most of the features necessary to make it work the way I want, including the wand, wand holder, 60-inch hose, washers, and comfort regulator.

ETL is an awesome shower head! The mount swivels some so you can adjust the angle. The shower points down, unlike the original shower head, plus we can fit under it. This shower head makes a big difference in both water savings and pressure. I love that this one came with a shut off valve – older models didn’t have it, and when you’re dry-camping, you want to shut off the water while soaping up.
