We journeyed up to Winkler, Manitoba, Canada to get a Leisure Travel Vans tour from Dean Corrigal and ended up driving out of there in a brand new 2019 Wonder Rear Twin Bed Model, which we will test out for the next month or so. We’ve never spent time on the road in a B-Plus – which we learn from Dean is really a made-up term for a more streamlined Class B motorhome – and this was also our first test of the Ford Transit as an RV chassis, which is becoming increasingly popular with RV makers.
We did a Premier YoiuTube video of the tour – at 40 minutes long! – and had thousands watching us live.
Here’s a replay of that:
After the tour video, Jennifer and I went live from the Wonder and did a live stream Q&A. We were streaming from a I-75 rest area in Northern Kentucky. Here’s that live stream:
All this is part of a new sponsorship arrangement with Leisure in promoting the RV Lifestyle Here’s the official news release on that — https://leisurevans.com/blog/meet-wendlands-new-ltv-brand-ambassadors.
In mid-March, we’ll turn the Wonder back in.
Please note that while we will be driving a Leisure Travel Van provided us for this test by the company as a part of their sponsorship arrangement, we will continue to independently cover all aspects of the RV industry and to generate our own original content for our various platforms. We’ll also attend gatherings and rallies, RV shows and do spontaneous meet and greets as we travel.
In fact, If you are in the area of Florida’s Emerald Coast, we are planning a meet and greet somewhere along the beach down there from 2-5PM on Sunday March 24th, 2019. Bring some beach chairs and maybe some snacks to pass and we’ll all hang out together. We’ll share the details next week of exactly where in comments below once we’ve firmed them up, and also on our RV Lifestyle Facebook Group at http://rvlifestyle.com/facebook
If you can make the meet and greet, please let us know in comments below so we can choose the right meeting location to accomodate us.
