North Carolina and the Smoky Mountains

| Updated Aug 2, 2018

We just spent a fabulous week in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina filled with lots of outside fun like whitewater rafting and mountaintop zip lining.

It was a very busy week in one of the most beautiful spots in North Carolina.

We took a train ride deep into the Nantahala Gorge, drove the Road to Nowhere and managed some fun shopping and good eating in Bryson City, NC, too. Come on along and add this great area to your bucket list!

Here's our video of the week… Click and come on along with us as we share the adventure!

There are lots of great campgrounds in the area and plenty of dispersed camping spots in the Nantahala National Forest.
