Jennifer and I had a great time this past weekend in Glendale, Arizona at the annual Super B RV Show, which continues to be the only RV show in North America that specializes in just small motorhomes.
We flew out Thursday and flew back Sunday, leaving Bo with some great dog sitters near our Okaloosa Island condo in Florida that we found in the Rover.com app. Although this show was all work, we did find some great stories there that we will be sharing over the next few weeks.
We also got to hang out with Chef MJ – our own RV Recipes editor Mary Jane Curry – who was at the show with husband Jeff autographing copies of her awesome Small Kitchen Big Flavor RV cookbook.
We also got a chance to visit with lots of people who follow the blog, listen to the podcast or watch our YouTube Videos.
Our friend Jennifer Fawcett from our RV Lifestyle Facebook Group lives in Phoenix and stopped by to hang out with us all for a while. And many of our friends who work in the industry were also there we we caught up on what was happening in their various businesses.
More than 100 Class B and Class C RVs were on display inside the massive State Farm Stadium, brought there by LaMesa RV, which puts on the show every April.
We did tours of the new models, talked to factory reps, interviewed RV shoppers for this week's podcast (listen for their interviews on Wednesday) and learned about the latest trends impacting the small motorhome market.
I'll spend Monday through Wednesday of this week editing the podcast interviews and the videos. Look for our video on the show and what's the latest in small motorhomes this Thursday on our RV Lifestyle Channel on YouTube.
At the show, on both Friday and Saturday, we had a live audience of show attendees with us and we also answered questions from people all over the world who watched us live on YouTube.
Here's a rewind of the more than one hour live stream we did from the show floor on Saturday.
Here's the Friday live stream
