How We Roll in Our RV: A Show & Tell of Our RV Headboard

Reader Lisa asked us to show more about the RV headboard recently installed in the back of our Roadtrek CS Adventurous XL.

Designed by no less than Roadtrek Motorhomes Jim Hammill himself after I told him how we needed some sort of a separator between the end of the bed and the extra room in the “basement” at the back of the motorhome, Jennifer and I are amazed at how useful it is.

My initial desire was just to keep my pillow from falling off the rear of the sofa when I as sleeping. But what Hammill and his amazing crew of woodworking craftsmen created for us at the Roadtreking factory in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada was nothing short but a work of art.

It has a mantle that we use to hold stuff we need at night.

Anyway, take a look at the video as Jennifer shows off the inside and I talk about the unexpected benefit that the headboard brings in terms of more storage space at the back of the Roadtrek.

And if you have a question about How We Roll in Our RV, send it along by using this form.

Here's the video, with some still photos below that:
