A Labor of Love: DIY Campervans

| Updated Feb 21, 2019

This week, we tour two DIY campervans, built by two couples as a labor of love. We met them and toured their vans at our recent winter campout at Tahquamenon Falls in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

One is on the Ford Transit chassis, the other on the Sprinter 3500 chassis.

The guy referenced in the video who teaches people how to build their own campervan is Ross Lukeman. I interviewed him in a recent episode for our RV podcast and you can listen to it at https://rvlifestyle.com/225. His website is https://alternativehomestoday.com

The refrigerator Larry and Wendy installed came from https://truckfridge.com

Check it out. These two couples figure they saved at least 50% of what it would have cost them to buy off a dealer lot.
