The RVers Complete Guide to Dog Parks

| Updated Dec 19, 2017

We love to travel in our RV with Bo.

He is such a part of our van life on the road that it’s hard to imagine the RV lifestyle without him.

Bo. Our two-year-old Norwegian Elkhound,  has been a part of our RV lifestyle since he was a pup. He loves to travel as much as we do. And he’s not alone.

Surveys show that nearly seven out of every 10 RVers say one of the main reasons they bought an RV in the first place was so they could travel with their pet.

But all those hours on the road without exercise are not good for anyone – owners or dogs. Our solution has been to visit dog parks as we travel. In fact traveling or not, we take Bo to a dog park pretty much every day.We like off-leash parks the most. And in this RV Lifestyle report we offer our tips: The RVers Complete Guide to Dog Parks.

The app we mention in this video is called Dog Park Finder (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dog-park-finder-plus/id372419544?mt=8_). It costs $1.99 for iOS devices. For Android users, try the Dog Park Locator App (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.omecha.dogpark&hl=en_)
