Let's face it, while certainly workable to shower in our Class B motorhome, it also comes with a own unique challenge: It requires a lot of efficiency in managing the onboard water supply. Hurry and get wet, turn the water off, lather up, rinse, repeat.
Sometimes, a long, hot, unhurried shower with lots of elbow room is desired.
Jennifer and I always have one waiting in our own private, roomy and scrupulously clean bathroom, 24 x 7, whatever time we want.
In fact, we can find it in thousands of towns across North America.
It's in the health club we joined – Anytime Fitness.
Now this is not a pitch for them. I have absolutely no relationship with the chain, other than the fact that Jennifer and I are members. But I will say, our membership didn't cost us a cent. That's because a benefit of our health insurance is something called Silver Sneakers , a program aimed at encouraging seniors to be more fit and active. More than 65 major plans across the United States offer the Healthways SilverSneakers Fitness Program as a part of their Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplement and group retiree plans.
With Silver Sneakers, we had our choice of joining either a bunch of health clubs such as YMCAs, Planet Fitness, LA Fitness, Snap Fitness, Curves, and more. We chose Anytime Fitness because there are so many locations to chose from that we have never been in an area that we couldn't find one.
Our membership gives us a key fob that opens the door and we have found that all have pretty much the same cardio and weight equipment and those wonderful private bathrooms and showers.

On the trip we're currently on, we planned our travel day to stop for a noon workout in Richmond, Kentucky, after leaving a boondocking place in southern Ohio.
Earlier this summer out west, we visited Anytime Fitness locations in Illinois, Missouri, New Mexico, Arizona, Idaho, and North Dakota.
Since we travel so much, the health clubs keep us on our fitness regime, something all RVers need to take note of. And the benefit of those long, hot showers are a great perk that comes along with the workout.

Hey Mike,some good points,finding that more stops to walk and stretch may take longer but are more than worthwhile for your health.
