Why you need to take an RV Photo Trip to Glacier National Park

| Updated Nov 6, 2021

We're asked all the time what National Park is our favorite and we have to say, when all is said and done, that Glacier National Park is probably our favorite when it comes to dramatic landscapes and the diversity of wildlife.

Here’s a video sampling of what we saw and why Glacier is such a special place….

Our most recent trip to Glacier was for our annual Roadtreking Photo Safari, a gathering of RVers to explore and take photos of the amazing beauty of this spectacular park on Montana’s Canadian border.

We stayed at the Chewing Blackbones RV resort and Campground, located on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation just outside Glacier on the banks of Lower St Mary’s Lake. We had programs and cooking demonstrations each evening around a campfire and a TeePee .

There were boat rides, tours of the area and lots of hikes… but the main reason we were here was to take photographs. Laura Robinson was our instructor and we took to the mountains to perfect our picture-taking.

There is so much to see at Glacier. Wildlife abounds. We saw whitetail and mule deer, elk, moose and bear almost every time we ventured out.
