Granola

This recipe is a good make ahead breakfast dish that fills a gallon ziptop size of granola.

Preheat oven 275 degrees

Bake time:  75 minutes

Ingredients

3 1/2 cups rolled oats

1 cup almonds, chopped

1 cup cashews, walnuts or pecans

1 cup dried coconut flakes

1/2 cup sunflower seeds, shelled

1/2 cup pumpkin seeds

2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

6 tbsp. butter, melted

2 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake in the oven as directed.
  3. Package in a gallon sized ziptop bag, label with date prepared and recipe name.  Use within 2-3 months.
