7 Festive RV Christmas Decorations for Your Camper

| Updated Nov 17, 2022

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas with these festive RV Christmas decorations! Deck the camper this season with one (or all!) of the following…

It is that time of year again! Time to break out the tinsel and decorate for Christmas.

Decorating a house can be a joyful experience. But what do you do when living or traveling in an RV?

The good news is that living the RV lifestyle does not mean you cannot also celebrate the holidays in a big way. You can decorate with a few key RV Christmas decorations that will not greatly impact your limited storage or living space.

I even put everything we mention in this post on an Amazon List — Decorate Your RV for Christmas. And notice that I'm starting to do some Amazon LIVE videos, too! If you enjoy Black Friday sales – make sure you bookmark our store, as we'll be live over there this year.

If you buy something through our links, we may get a small commission at no extra cost to you. It helps keep our lights on so we can continue to provide helpful resources for RVers. Read our full affiliate disclosure here.

7 Festive RV Christmas Decorations

Here's a video rewind of our visit to the largest Christmas Store in America, where we challenged the staff at Bronner's in Frankenmuth, MI to decorate our RV. They outdid themselves and even our dog at the time, Tai, got in the spirit of the season. Sort of. 🙂

If you can't make it to Bronners, don't worry! There's always Amazon.

Like what you see in these videos? We'd appreciate it if you would Subscribe to our YouTube Channel (easy to do right here) and consider “ringing the bell icon” to be notified of any new video from us. 🙂 Thanks!

The following RV Christmas decorations are great pieces to work into your RV holiday decor They don't take up much space when stored but can bring you that cozy holiday feeling wherever you go!

1. Pop Up Christmas Tree

Just because you are celebrating in an RV doesn't mean you have to give up your beloved Christmas tree. You have options!

This prelit and predecorated Christmas tree comes in multiple heights, from 2 feet to 7.5 feet.

Plus, assembly couldn't be easier. You simply hook the tree to the top of the pole, and it drops down to a ready-made Christmas tree.

You can add your own ornaments that you've collected on your travels! Or, turn your travel photos into Christmas ornaments!

2. Interchangeable Rustic Holiday Wreath

Welcome everyone through the door with holiday cheer! This interchangeable rustic wreath is a perfect fit for your RV because it works for every season!

You can change the decoration on the wreath for each holiday and season. That means you only have to store one decor item that can be used all year!

The OurWarm Interchangeable wreath is brown and circular featuring a burlap and checkered bow. It says “Welcome Home” on the front. The “o” in the home is an interchangeable piece with decoration for every holiday and season.

3. Reflective Christmas Car Magnets

So what about the outside of your RV? Consider using fun vehicle magnets to decorate for Christmas!

The Whaline 49-piece magnet set features fun, colorful holiday light magnets. They're great for spreading Christmas cheer while driving down the road!

Of course, you can also decorate with real holiday lights. String them from your awning, wrap your RV, or make a holiday tree out of lights!

Nowadays, there are many options to choose from, including these waterproof dimmable lights. You can change the brightness with the remote so the light won't disturb your camping neighbors.

4. Christmas Tablecloth

Another easy way to add a little holiday decor to your campsite is by using a Christmas tablecloth on your picnic table.

If you are like Jennifer and me, you like to cover the campground table with an excellent cover. It feels cleaner, more organized, and a little more like home. So what better way to bring Christmas cheer than to use a holiday-inspired tablecloth?

The tablecloth I have linked here features the classic red Christmas truck, a gorgeous deer, some Christmas gnomes, gifts, and trees. Somehow, all these images work together in one cohesive holiday scene.

By the way, I have an article on the 9 Best Foldable Tables and Table Accessories for Camping. These 10 Coffee Table Books for Your RV Picnic Table also make great Christmas gifts.

5. Solar Christmas Lights

Do you love the twinkle of lights? Then consider these unique solar holiday lights.

The Joomer Solar Christmas lights are not your typical holiday string. They feature uniquely shaped bulbs, creating a sparkling fairy light effect.

The light set is waterproof. But the thing I like best about these is that they are solar-powered! You can avoid draining your battery!

They can even bring some holiday cheer for anyone camping off the grid.

6. Santa, Snowman, and Reindeer Trio Inflatable

Another excellent holiday decoration to consider is an inflatable. You can get a reasonably large decoration for your campsite without needing much storage space when traveling.

I like the Santa Claus, Snowman, and Reindeer Trio Inflatable.

It looks like a camping scene since all three characters are enjoying a nice campfire.

It is also six feet wide. It would look great sitting right in front of your RV to anyone driving or walking by.

Another camping-inspired inflatable I like is this gingerbread hot cocoa decoration. This baby is 6 feet tall but folds down small.

It features a red cup of hot cocoa with two cute gingerbread people peeking out. I don’t know about you, but hot cocoa is a great camping “go-to” for many families.

7. Cozy Christmas Throw Blanket

Who doesn’t love to cozy up with a warm blanket when camping in the winter? The neat thing is that you can change your RV throw blankets to reflect the season without wasting precious space.

The LALIFIT Christmas throw blanket is a vintage-inspired, plaid throw blanket. It is “cashmere soft” and may remind you of the blankets you had as a child.

This style has a light-colored background and features green and red plaid, giving it just a touch of the holiday feel.
