About this event

Get ready for the RVLifestyle Gathering in beautiful Middle Tennessee

Just 90 miles west of Nashville in Middle Tennessee is the charming town of Linden, TN where the RVLifestyle fans will spend some of their time October 17-20 camping, picnicking, exploring, kayaking, wine tasting, and enjoying the company of dozens of other like-minded RVers.

You’ve heard Mike and Jennifer talk about the beauty and peacefulness of this awesome part of the country (they bought 5 acres there as their own private RV retreat) and they can’t wait to show you around the area they have come to love.

This gathering is jam-packed with fun things to see and do which happens at perhaps the best time of the year – just as the lush countryside bursts with autumn color.

For campers, we’ll stay at Loretta Lynn's Ranch - UPPER Campgrounds, on Highway 13 in Hurricane Mills (about 30 miles north of Linden). Check-in is after 9am Monday, Oct. 17. Each site has full hookups – water, electric, and septic.

--> BUT - and this is important - each site is a 50 amp site - so IF YOU have a 30 AMP rig - please bring your own adapter (as none can be provided!!). <-- Please do not call the campsite as we will be assigning all the spots. THANKS!

Here's a general description of the gathering agenda:

Monday evening will be a get-acquainted potluck dinner, held at the Lower Level Deck Bar, which offers views of the rolling Tennessee countryside. We'll get to meet each other and after the potluck go back to the Upper Campground and see each other's rigs and enjoy a campfire.

There will be lots of suggested opportunities for exploring Tuesday, from hiking to antiquing to kayaking the Buffalo, one of the South’s most picturesque and peaceful rivers.

Late afternoon on Tuesday, we’ll gather in Linden (about 30 miles south) at Ridgehaven Farms, where you can pet and feed their clean and friendly farm animals in a peaceful environment, leisurely hiking their trails and seeing pristine creeks, streams, a waterfall, and caves. We’ll enjoy a fabulous fried chicken picnic meal and have a special bonfire as evening comes (drinks on your own) before making our way back to the campground for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Wednesday is your choice of activities again: kayaking, visiting a wonderful winery, heading over to the Woodlands to hang out with Mike and Jennifer and see their property, or shopping in downtown Linden, voted one of the most charming small towns in Tennessee.

Wednesday night we go all out. We’ll gather at the beautifully restored Commodore Hotel and Café in downtown Linden where we’ll be greeted by the local mayor and treated to an old-fashioned block party with live music and a delicious catered dinner by the Commodore.

Want to know how special this night will be? The city is even shutting down and blocking off a street – just for our event!

On the way back to camp, Mike and Jen will have a campfire on their property for those who want a little more socializing.

Thursday morning at the campground, there will be time to visit and tour each other’s RVs before we bid farewells and set off.

(Hint: Nashville is an easy drive away and you may want to extend your vacation with a visit to Music City and all that it offers!)

Each ticket is good for one RV and two people.

Don’t have an RV but still want to come? No problem. Michael and Kathy Dumont, the owners of Ridgehaven Farms and the Commodore, have a special room package good for all the above activities during the days of our Gathering. Have your own place to camp but still want to join us for meals and the activities? There’s a package for that, too. In both cases go to https://www.commodorehotellinden.com/rvlifestyle to learn more.

Tickets for the RVLifestyle Gathering at Buffalo River will go fast! Order yours now to get sure to get a spot. Space is limited and this event will sell out.
